Lyubomir Iliev has a long managerial experience in the field of marketing and sales gained in his work for Bulgarian and foreign companies.
His career in Holding Bulgarian State Railways EAD began in October 2009 when he was appointed Director of Marketing and Sales Directorate. From the beginning of 2010 he also took the position of Director of Marketing and Sales Directorate in BDZ Cargo. In this capacity he managed the marketing activity, the supplies and the sales in the company until March 2013. During the period 2010 – 2013 he was a Member of the Board of Directors of Gorna Oryahovitsa Airport AD. From April 2013 until January 2014 he was Executive Director of Rail Cargo Carrier ltd.
He has Master’s degrees in “Business Administration” from the University of Sheffield, Great Britain, “International Economic Relations” from the Academy of Economics in Svishtov, “Mechanical Engineering Technology and Manufacturing Management” from the Technical University Sofia. He obtained diplomas from Chartered Management Institute, London „CMI level 7 diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership” and from Business Education for International Economic Development Management (BEIED), Seattle, USA „Professional certificate in Marketing”.
In his spare time he enjoys playing tennis, skiing and visiting the fitness. He also likes reading books and watching movies.
